Workaholic loner missing someone to share experiences with. Intelligent and articulate woman with a youthful outlook. I love films, books, and music (from oldies to new Alt Rock; love DMB). Comfortable discussing serious topics or devolving into Monty Python skits. I can come off kind of geeky at times since I work with computers and I really like science fiction-oriented books, movies, and television. But, I'm good at hiding that side of me as well when the venue and company call for it.



What's harder to hide is my wry sense of humor. I love making people laugh and I see humor in many things, often when others don't. That's too bad. It is better to laugh than to cry or rail. After all, as Jim Morrison said in the title of his autobiography "No One Here Gets Out Alive"



I'm not much of an "outdoor girl". I find my joy in movie theaters, art galleries, coffee shops, and book stores. I dabble in photography, home improvement projects, and messy arts and crafts. I'm not much of a sports fan, but I love attending the Manchester Monarch's New Year's Eve game for the general silliness of AHL hockey and the indoor fireworks show after the game. I understand sports; I just don't follow them any more.



I used to meditate regularly and I'm trying to get back into since doing so keeps me grounded.



And, even though I am somewhat curvy, I try to eat well and I exercise every morning without fail. See? I am capable of commitment with the right motivation!
