I'm a huge film nerd, and Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove is my absolute favorite film. I've always enjoyed a good movie but really got into them during my first deployment. One of the few luxuries we had during downtime was the escapism of film. My second passion is gaming. I'm a pure child of the 90s and my favorite console will always be the SNES. I used to have a vast collection of retro consoles and games but ended up losing them in a fire. Haven't been able to build it back up yet. I'll play pretty much anything but prefer RPG and FPS. Just recently I've been seeping my foot into MOBA. Another favorite pastime is reading. I prefer high fantasy or sci-fi and recently started delving into xuanhuan. The transmigration and reincarnation genres are another favorite ATM. Would consider myself a casual fan of both anime and manga. I used to be very big into it but only keep track of a very few series' now-a-days. Currently, I'm addicted to podcasts and haven't listened to much music lately. The Dollop, Doug Loves Movies, The Bertcast... I could listen to them talk forever. When I do listen to music it's usually folk metal or very theatrical, atmospheric pieces by the likes of Two Steps From Hell or X-Ray Dog.
