Since I am on this site it is obvious that I consider myself a Nerd. I am a huge Star Trek Fan. I love the show and have since I was a kid watching the original series, DS9 being my favorite. That being said I have never been to a conference (although not opposed to going) but I do enjoy the geekier things in life. Sci-fi, fantasy movies and books are my favorite, but I consider myself well read in a variety of genres.

Growing up I considered myself geek-chic meaning that while I was an avid D&D player that got good grades and read comic books, I was also on the football and track teams, took martial arts very seriously and was an avid dancer. In my twenties my dancing led me to being a regular on the MTV show The Grind and I was a professional dancer throughout the 90's.

Now my life is much simpler. I am a devout Christian with a good job. I do go on missionary trips around the world mostly helping third world women find the Gospel and provide micro lending opportunities to empower them to succeed. My organization has recently provided desks for an all girls school in Kabul. There is so much more that I would love to say but I guess we can talk about that over dinner.
