I will be the first to admit that I am a geek and I don’t find anything wrong with it. I have a diverse set of interest that I enjoy delving into when I have a chance. I am an amateur photographer with dreams of making it a side job one day, though I do suck at taking self portrait since I really do prefer to behind the camera. I also write, slowly teaching myself to draw and slowly delving into the graphic arts. Because of this I keep up the latest development of technology and teaching myself different graphic programs out there especially when they can help my interest along. I enjoy gaming wither it be on the computer, at a table with a set of dice or playing a board game with friends. You’ll be surprised what interesting board games are now out there. Unlike some of the geeks I know I also enjoy hitting the gym, hiking (usually to do landscape photography) swimming and other physical activities.



I work full time as a Civil/Drafting Engineering Technologist and at night I am a part time night student slowly working my way through my bachelor. I have goals of becoming a Project Manager or Designer in my field in the next 5 year and if that means I have to get my engineering degree after this bachelor than that is what I will do. I enjoy the job I have but always on the look for a new job or assignment that could increase my skill set. Hell I even take a class here and there just to keep learning and trying new things. Have to keep busy and who doesn’t like learning new things?



When I do have free time that is not taken up by my hobbies I do enjoy going to the movies, the theater if there is a good play on or even an art show. During the summer I can easily go see a movie a week either because the movie is really good or I am in the literary/movie making style that the movie was written/filmed in. I enjoy having a good discussion about the movie specially the visual affect and the writing. Truthfully I am willing to talk about almost anything especially if it makes me think for a while.



Guess another thing I should mention is that I put a high priority on my friends and family. I always try to be there when they needed me. I can’t count how many time I helped a friend or family member move or helped pull their car out of the snow. I believe that you should always be there for your friends and family since they are the ones who will be there for you when you need them. I don’t have time to play head games or any of the bull and at time can be a little to honest for my own good.
