Although I am cognizant in medical matters and other areas, I am limited in my income level so that I can receive my anticonvulsant medications which control seizures incurred from a near fatal car collision I suffered while I was 16 years old. I appear normal on the surface, but the right amygdula, right hippocampus, and right temporal lobe of my brain had to be removed to cease the 20-50 seizures a day I was having prior to 1998. Since then, I have only convulsed once a year. My IQ was a 120 prior to 12/13/94, when the gravel truck hit me, and is now a 98. Besides reading, I love word puzzles, number puzzles, and caring for my dog. |
