Fun Facts About Me
*I love the way works of art talk to each other and I often matchmake movies and other works of art for the enjoyment of others.

*I have written a novel which is a lighthearted dystopian romp which I am presently rewriting. I do plan to attempt to publish. Any writing time not spent accomplishing this will go into the next book, which I plan to start immediately.

*I think I am a grizzly bear, but people who know me dispute this. They say I am a panda. If so, I am a FIERCE panda.

*I believe there should be a cinematic kitty hall of fame. Some of the original inductees should include Binks, Jonsey and Mr. Bigglesworth.

*I love animals of all types. If I suspect a dog might get hurt in a movie, I look the movie up on “Does The Dog Die” to make sure it is “safe.”

*People who don't know me often have trouble reading me because my face isn't the most expressive. I have noticed a tendency for people to project emotions or motives into me as if I am a blank screen for them. This can be a real hinderance to me.

*Some people see my lack of reaction to events and assume that I am cold. I am exactly the opposite. I feel intensely; and I need to create space between what I am feeling and my core self.

*My mind moves through things rapidly, and I intuitively makes connections, which means that I can quickly come to a conclusion about something. This can be helpful, but it also means sometimes I wonder why someone just doesn’t see something I do.

*My mind works a lot like a series of hyperlinks. I can be thinking about one thing, connect it to another and eventually end up talking to you about the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes when initially you asked me about the weather—and I can explain how I got there. My brain is a catalog of things that connect with each other.

*I’m a Meyers-Briggs INFJ. INFJs are known for being sort of living empaths who see patterns in just about everything.

*I am passionate about growth. I love to grow and I love to help people grow; especially children who are struggling with trauma.

*I believe in moving forward through adversity. I refuse to wallow in how hard the world is. I do not walk away from challenges.

*I am a fairly fit individual and am getting fitter by the day. I try to do some form of physical exercise each day. I do CrossFit and love it because I have yet to encounter any serious negativity while doing it.

*I am an observational learner and I tend not to ask a lot of questions when I first meet someone.

*My favorite sound in the world is rain on glass.

*Looking at a list of books lost to the world by human ignorance makes me feel infinitely sad. I still mourn the Library of Alexandria.

*The only camouflage I own is a pair of underwear. I may own more—it’s hard to tell because they fade into the background.

*I do not care for Donald Trump or the Republican Party.

What Am I Looking For In A Partner
*I want to be with someone who I am not continually editing my thoughts around. I need to be able to trust someone enough to talk about wants, needs and difficulties within reason without fear of rejection or condemnation.

*I need to trust someone to have my back.

*I love honesty.

*I want to be with a woman with her own goals.

*I want a partner who is not afraid of being romantic and likes physical intimacy.

*I want to be with someone who takes care of her mental and physical health.
