I am a child of the 80s. I was one of the kids in Stranger Things without the upside down. I played video games starting with Pong and the Odyssey, but mostly I remember playing my Atari. I had the original gold cartridge for the Legend of Zelda. I played Basic D&D. I read and collected comic books. I watched all of the movies and television shows related to fantasy and science fiction - Hawk the Slayer, Excalibur, the Sword and the Sorcerer, etc. The Incredible Hulk, Star Trek: the Next Generation, Tales from the Darkside, Amazing Stories, etc.

My favorite doctors are 4 and 10. Next Generation is still my favorite Trek. Han shot first. ET was better with guns. I usually play gnomes or dwarves as rogues or fighters, but a nice caster every once in awhile is cool. Prefer to role play in person, but mostly have to play online now, virtually with my group or computer RPGs.

I collect Funko Pops and vintage science fiction/fantasy paperbacks. I used to collect comics but had to part with them due to space. Now I collect graphic novels.

I love the outside and take hikes/walks almost everyday on the trails around Fort Collins. I love nature. I've gone ice-climbing in Alaska and zip-lining in Mexico. I've taken a glacier cruise and ridden a train through the Yukon. I've snorkeled in the Pacific swam in the waters of the Atlantic in Florida. I want to try spelunking. I want to travel more than time has allowed me.

This year, I've started a new journey of self-discovery. I have become healthier and more active. I have lost over 60 pounds. I'm on track to lose 50 pounds more. My mind is in a confident and healthy state. Staying healthy and active is my priority.

I work as a technical writer for a healthcare software company. At night I geek out playing games, watching tv or movies. I write creatively, and I like to draw.

I am an INTP, and my love language is quality time. I am not religious or really spiritual, but I respect others who are. I am very liberal, and I do not tolerate bigotry or hate.

I'm ready to share my enthusiasm and re-energized spirit with someone.

Someone who knows that knows who Zelda is. Someone who knows the difference between Wars and Trek but will watch both. Same with Marvel and DC. Someone who knows the cake is a lie and is willing to take the red pill. Someone who will travel to Mordor and has the heart and resolve to do what's right. Someone who knows the airspeed velocity of an African swallow.

Someone who is loyal, smart, and loves all things geek. Can have meaningful conversations about geekdom and different fanbases or about trivial things such as the name of the plastic tips on shoelaces, as well as about more intellectual topics. "Can analysis be worthwhile? Is the theater really dead?"

Someone who is at home staying in and doing our own thing on a couch, just being emotionally present together or watching tv or a movie, playing a game but who can also go out and be active. Someone who likes nature and is willing to get their hands dirty digging in the mud.

Someone who is smart, funny, confident and secure in themselves even if shy or introverted.

I want someone to support and explore my life journey as I do with theirs. To have adventures with, whether out in the world camping in the Rockies and braving the elements, or through a movie or game at home saving the princess who's in another castle or looking for a six-fingered man to get revenge.
