I am romantic, understanding, adventurous, upfront, honest, faithful, and a great listener. Those are all qualities I pride myself on and would hope for the same qualities in a partner. I do not play games nor have I ever understood the reason to do so. Life is too short to waste it on petty things. I have always lived by the, "Do unto others as you would have done unto you", school of thought. I treat everybody with the same respect and patience that I would expect to be treated with.



It would be nice to meet someone who would enjoy going to Carmel, conventions, parks, spontaneous road trips along the coast, cuddling up to watch our favorite TV shows, or a night at home with friends and a good movie. I can adjust to just about any situation if the need arises. I have always felt that being happy was more about who I was with and not so much what I am doing. I am an artist and I do attend several conventions throughout the year. It would be nice to have someone to keep me company and support that as well. Someone that is at least willing to give it a try would be nice. It can be a lot of fun if you give in to the geeky side that I think we all possess deep down. I know its give and take too, and I won't complain when you take me along shopping at the mall or while I sit in the waiting room when you get your nails done. :) I understand that being together is the most important part of a relationship no matter what we are doing (besides communication, of course).



As far as music goes I am all over the place. I like pretty much anything except Heavy Metal. I never got into that, too hard for me to understand what they were saying I suppose. Soundtracks, country, pop, jazz, blues, rock, vocals, it's all in the old iTunes library. I'm an artist so I usually have music on as background noise while I work.



I'd like to think I'm a simple-no baggage guy. Or at least as close to that as you can get. We all have some baggage to carry through life so, I suppose, the key is how much we carry with us and what we leave behind. I take care of my mom, make time for my awesome friends, and have a job I enjoy. I never had kids of my own but I am cool if you have them. I have had a few girlfriends that had little ones and I raised a foster kid from 10 to 21. I was always told I made a good father but having my own kids just wasn't in the cards for me.



I'm now looking for a relationship, but I'm not looking to jump into anything without getting to know someone first. I've never been married, so I'm pretty sure it won't kill me to take things slow and make sure we are compatible.
