So, I have just been put on the spot to say something about myself to sign in, that always works out well :-)

I am a cybersecurity professional (and it took me years to stop bristling at using cyber with everything). The work is often interesting and always changing, so it keeps me engaged.

During the pandemic I have managed to shed about 50#. 20 to go until I am at a good weight for my frame. I also have my pandemic hair (shoulder length right now). Someday I'll figure out what to do with it.

I am a gamer, SF&F fan (I was a member of SFWA years ago when I was involved in magazine publishing), media fan, and just generally like fannish stuff.

I was a fan before it was cool.
